Celebrating an AMAZING 17th Union Street Party!

 

What a day! The 17th Union Street Party brought the community together for live music, theatre, spoken word and plenty of good vibes across two WonderZoo stages and the whole street.

 

A huge thank you to all the incredible artists who performed on our stages: Richard Thomas, Rachel Gippett, Elena Brake, Benjamin Brake, Jon Nash, Steve Oram, The Ohs, Modern Life, Arash Torabi, Drum Abundance, Pete the Bear with John and Friends, Josephine Furzey and Friends, Cyrus Larcombe-Moore, Handpan Kitchen—and many more!

 

We’re grateful to the WonderZoo Art Club, our wonderful crew and Nudge Community Builders for helping make the event happen. Special thanks also go to our brilliant Masters of Ceremonies, Cyrus Larcombe-Moore and Arash Torabi; sound team John Michael Spurling and Michael Fugeman; Caroline Thomas for the beautiful posters and artwork; and Maile Mia Heart for her fantastic support and stage styling and most of making Slain of WonderZoo the best dressed person again at the Street Party.  

 

One of the day’s highlights was Slain performing as Pete the Bear of Stonehouse with John and Friends, alongside members of the WonderZoo Art Club. It was wonderful to see families and children joining in and enjoying the festivities.

 

From the stages to the street, the day was full of creativity, connection and fun. Thank you to everyone who came and made it so special. Here’s to many more Union Street Parties, the biggest and best party in Plymouth!
